Yangzhou free tourist attraction recommendation!

a) Yunhe Sanwan Scenic Spot

This is a 4A scenic area with beautiful scenery.  The tourist service centre, inn, running track, and other public service facilities in the scenic spot are all available, allowing visitors to feel the historical culture of Sanwan as soon as they enter the scenic area.

b) Songjiacheng

Songjiacheng now is full of verdant, and the air here is fresh. It is just another wonderland.

c) Dongguan Street

Dongguan Street is the most representative historical and tourist street in Yangzhou. There are city sites of Tang Song Dynasty, Ming-Qing hall, Gudu Paifang, Yamen (administrative office during Imperial China), mansion, former residences of heroes, gifted men’s stories, gorgeous women, local folklore, and time-honoured brand.

d) Ancient Grand Canal

Yangzhou was born and flourished because of the grand canal. The canal passes through the city from the southeast of Yangzhou City, and there are a lot of historical sites and cultural landscapes. Walking along the canal is also a good choice!

e) Yangzhou Double Museum

Yangzhou Double Museum consist of the China Block Printing Museum and the Yangzhou Museum. The museum located on the west side of Mingyuehu, and across the lake within Yangzhou International Exhibition Centre. The cultural property under the protection of the national “white dragon pattern plum vase with blue glaze in the Yuan Dynasty” is the highlight of the museum. If you like Yangzhou’s history and culture, you can consider it as your destination.

f) Mingyuehu Park

Mingyuehu was select as “Jiangsu Most Beautiful Night Run Place!” After the renovation of Mingyue Lake Park, the appearance had greatly improved and become more beautiful.

g) Hehuachi (Lotus Pond) Park

Hehuachi Park is located on the west side of Hehuachi Road in Yangzhou. It was named Nanchi or Yanchi originally. It was also named “Lotus Pond” because of the extensive planting of lotus in the pond. In the early Qing Dynasty, Wang Yushu built a villa by the pool, named Nanyuan, which was one of the eight famous gardens in Yangzhou. Its night view is also beautiful.
